The Medicine with Altitude medical conferences are primarily dedicated to promoting rural health through the development and implementation of high-quality continuing medical education (CME) for rural proceduralists, ED doctors, and general practitioners. In the spirit of excellent academic pursuit combined with freedom from commercial obligations, the Conference is conducted without pharmaceutical sponsorship. Delegates meet the costs of their own education and accommodation, and their families are warmly welcomed and encouraged to accompany them. No funding is ever sought or accepted from the pharmaceutical industry.
